Caroline & Shane would hold their Spring wedding at Sheen Falls in the heart of Kenmare, Co. Kerry.
Early Spring. A trip beyond the Cork and Kerry Mountains. Through Kilgarvan, Healy-Rae territory, and into Kenmare. I did stop off for some diesel and even did the Lotto in Kilgarvan, feeling lucky.
The Bridal Suite as usual it was a hive of activity as Caroline’s crew buzzed around preparing for the wedding. The bride was in buoyant form as the time drew near to head for Dauros Chuch which is tucked away on the back roads of Kenmare. Quite often the groom can be a tad more nervous. Sur, it’s suit on and ready to go for the lads
Sheen Falls is a lovely venue on stunning grounds. It lent itself to my way of working. Everyone got right into the craic during reception and I went to work as I found a few spots in and around the house to grab a few essential candid moments.
The house itself is very well lit. And for me the light was spectacular on that early Spring day, and night. Between the meal and music I captured a few more candid moments with everyone now completely relaxed and in party mode. This provides great opportunities when working in a reportage style. I certainly found the castle to be dynamic. But check it out, a quick rundown from Caroline & Shane’s wedding at Sheen Falls in Co. Kerry.
